Well, new to me.

Nice. And it's free. You can find it at Blogpoll.

Hey, that is neat. Come on, put up a real poll. How about this one: who's better looking, Chun or Che?

And whatever happened to Chun and Che anyway?

I voted for other, but couldn't see where to specify! Anyhow, it's _gotta_ be pecan pie.

I voted other, intending cherry. I may be swayed by your pecan, JW.

Nope, it's cherry.

Pecan. Of course. I knew I was forgetting one of the more illustrious pies.

Chun? Che? Are you game? We'll need photos, or at least line drawings. Or perhaps we'd settle for detailed and vivid descriptions.

Normally I would hate to leave such a slight comment, but come on, ogged. You're just wrong about this. It's pecan pie.

Ben, this can be sliced a couple of ways. The question asked for "favourite" pie. To this, I have to respond with cherry, because I have such fond memories of a childhood spent scarfing Hostess cherry pies. But if we're asking about "best" pie (as in, what would you serve, what would you recommend), then it's pecan, no question.

And IA, I think we should have descriptions, then pictures.

Pecan is very nice if it has more pecans than joggly stuff. Cherry is fantastic. Homemade blackberry made from hand-picked blackberries also a winner, but people -- what about Rhubarb???

um ... that would be jiggle (not joggly) stuff.

Shoot! This is what comes from teaching back-to-back Western Civ and Ancient classes. The brain starts to seep, and spelling skills leave quietly out the back door. Jiggly, dammit!

I'm going back to reading about Hammurabi's laws. And trying to explain that "civilized" is not a good word for historians to use. And remembering what I've said in each class.

ADM, I think you meant gigli.

Chun. And Chun has a blog, like everyone else in the world now.

I voted for other because a pie list is complete without sweet potato pie.

True confession: I have never tasted sweet potato pie. Is it like pumpkin pie?

If Chun looks like that Chun, then I feel vaguely concerned. I mean...we're talking the one with the eyeball collection, right?

Also, chocolate. Definitely. Pecan is fine, and pumpkin in a pinch, but really, it must be chocolate.

I voted for pumpkin, but I also like home-made peach, blackberry and pecan.

Drat! Now I wants me some PIE!

Hm. Stretching for issues? I think that the expose of David Hume's sexual practices would be a more promising tack.

That should read incomplete. Sweet potato pie has a sweeter taste.
